Europe Geography Lesson Plans

This product is created to teach about the geography of 9 countries and 12 major physical features in Europe and to teach about the environmental issues in Europe. It covers 6th grade Georgia European geography social studies standards.

This product contains 5 original informational passages with an activity each, 1 PowerPoint, and 16 digital activities to teach your students about the geography of the following countries: the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Ukraine, and Russia; the following physical features: Pyrenees & Ural Mountains, the Alps, Rhine & Danube Rivers, Mediterranean Sea, European Plains, Atlantic & Arctic Oceans, Iberian & Scandinavian Peninsulas, and the English Channel; and about environmental issues in Europe, specifically acid rain in Germany, air pollution in the UK, and the nuclear disaster in Chernobyl, Ukraine. You will also receive teacher instructions on how to use this product with your students.

This Google Drive product is a combination of my *European Geography: Country Location & Physical Features: Passages, PowerPoint, & Interactive Notebook , *European Geography: Environmental Issues- Passages, Activity Pages, & Interactive Notebook products. These two products are NOT Google Drive compatible. THIS product is!

Each activity requires students to close read to understand the content at a deeper level.
